Transplanted hair commonly sheds between weeks 2 and 4, which is a normal part of healing. New growth usually begins around months 3 to 4, and the final appearance is generally assessed at about 12 months. Results vary from person to person.

You go home the same day with written aftercare instructions and scheduled follow-up reviews. Many people return to desk work within a few days; your doctor will advise you on washing, physical activity and any medication.
